How to Make Americano

The hot water is drawn directly from the same espresso machine which is used for brewing espresso. Using the same heater is good and this way water can be drawn directly into the glass which is either pulling the shot of espresso.

Few espresso machines have separate hot water spouts for this purpose. Others allow the use of steam wands for dispensing hot water. Actually using a separate water heater is more practical but it reduces the demand of the espresso machine.  Do not disrupt the temperature of brew water and allow the inexpensive water heater to be used.
