Another very effective natural way of treating dysentery is raw papaya. Surely, it helps treat dysentery and reduce stomach cramps as it is a mild laxative. If use this home remedy, remember that you don’t have to drink a lot of milk, only one cup milk is enough with juice of half melon. You can drink black tea twice a day. In addition, you can put honey and lemon in your coffee for a much better taste.
Similarly, guava leaves have antibacterial properties and inhibit the bacteria that cause dysentery and diarrhea. So, you can even have it as an alternate option. Firstly, boil a handful of guava leaves in 1-2 cups of water for 20 minutes. Drink it after straining.
Red Radish And Corn Starch
One more dysentery treatment at home which you can take is radish which is a laxative that clears out the infection by stimulating the removal of all toxins from the body along with the infection-causing bacteria. First of all chop the radish and blend the chopped slices with one cup of milk and 1 teaspoon of corn starch. Afterwards, you can drink this mixture. Don’t drink this mixture too much, only two cups are more than enough a day.
